OAuth connection
Mapifyer connects to Google Business Profile via OAuth. You grant permission once and Mapifyer maintains a secure connection to your account.

What data is synced
Mapifyer pulls: business name, address, categories, photos, hours, posts, reviews, and Q&A. Ranking data is generated separately via live scan.

How often data refreshes
Profile data and reviews refresh in the background. Use the refresh control on a location to pull the latest immediately.

Ranking scans are separate
Ranking positions are not pulled from GBP — they are calculated live by Mapifyer running searches across the grid. This is more accurate than GBP's own insights.

Problem: Profile data is outdated

Click 'Refresh' on the location page to force a manual sync. Profile changes on Google can take 24 hours to propagate.

Problem: Reviews are missing

Check that the connected Google account has manager access to the profile, then use the refresh control to pull the latest.
