Why search-demand data is sometimes unavailable
When Mapifyer cannot obtain trustworthy search-demand evidence for a keyword and location, it withholds the revenue figure instead of estimating one.
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Revenue figures require evidence
The revenue opportunity for a scan is modelled from measured search demand for that keyword in that location. Without that measurement there is no defensible number.
- 2
Mapifyer does not guess
When the measurement is unavailable, Mapifyer shows "Search-demand data unavailable" rather than substituting a default, an average, or an estimate. Nothing is written to your reports either.
- 3
Common reasons
The location could not be matched to a recognized search market, the keyword returned no demand data, or the demand provider was temporarily unreachable.
- 4
What to try
Re-run the scan with a clearer city and state label, or with a keyword phrased the way customers actually search. If it persists across keywords and locations, contact support.
Tips
- Older scans can show this permanently: they were recorded before Mapifyer verified search-demand evidence, so their figures are withheld by design.
- If every scan on your account shows this, contact support@mapifyer.com.
