Common Google Business Profile sync issues
Troubleshoot the most common reasons a Google Business Profile fails to sync in Mapifyer.
Step-by-step instructions

Re-authenticate the Google account
Go to GBP β Locations, click the three-dot menu on the affected location, and select 'Reconnect Google Account'. Re-authorize through Google OAuth.

Verify access level
Visit business.google.com and confirm the Google account connected to Mapifyer has Owner or Manager access. Viewer access will not allow syncing.

Check for GBP suspension
If the business profile has been suspended by Google, Mapifyer cannot sync data. Visit business.google.com to check the profile status and follow Google's reinstatement process if needed.

Clear and reconnect
As a last resort, disconnect the location from Mapifyer and re-add it. Go to Locations, delete the location, and add it again from scratch.
Troubleshooting
Problem: Status shows 'Disconnected' but reconnect fails
The Google OAuth token has fully expired. Delete the location and re-add it using the 'Add Location' flow.
Problem: Location syncs but reviews are empty
There may be a delay in review sync. Wait 4 hours and manually refresh. If reviews still don't appear, re-authenticate the Google account.
